Everton, fresh from their ascent to the Premier League summit yesterday, have made headlines on deadline day too, the Toffees announcing the first top-flight deal of the day.
The Carlo Ancelotti revolution at Goodison Park continues to pick up pace, with a host of high-calibre new signings going hand in hand with much-improved displays from most of the squad.

Could there be any more incomings or outgoings on the blue side of Merseyside today? We take a look at how things stand:
Ben Godfrey joins Everton in reported £25m deal
The big news from Goodison Park so far today is the signing of Ben Godfrey from Norwich, the first Premier League day announced on deadline day.
According to BBC Sport, Everton will pay £25m up-front for the 22-year-old centre back, with £5m more in potential add-ons.
Godfrey, who has penned a five-year-deal, is Ancelotti’s fifth signing of the summer following the arrivals of James Rodriguez, Allan, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Niels Nkounkou.
Moise Kean completes loan move to PSG
In terms of confirmed outgoings, Italian striker Moise Kean has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old has scored twice in the League Cup this term but has played just 13 minutes in the Premier League.

Kean arrived at Everton from Juventus on a five-year deal last summer but has failed to settle at Goodison Park.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton insist Kean has a future at Goodison, and the agreement would not include any option to buy the player at the end of the season.
Theo Walcott reportedly sought after by Southampton
According to Sky Sports, Southampton are interested in re-signing Theo Walcott, 14 years after leaving St Mary’s for Arsenal.
Walcott joined Everton from Arsenal for a fee of around £20m in January 2018 and has gone on to make 85 appearances for the Toffees.
However, he is into the last year of his contract and has only played 12 minutes of the Toffees’ first four Premier League games.

Arkadiusz Milik reportedly still on Everton radar, just one other team in the running
Everton reportedly remain an option for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, with Fiorentina supposedly the only competition for the Toffees.
Tuttomercatoweb have reported that the Toffees could yet land the 51-cap Poland international striker before the deadline, as competition for the in-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
