Tosun backed
Marco Silva has backed Cenk Tosun to start scoring regularly now he has ended his goal drought at the club.
The Turkish international scored his first goal for the club since April in the 3-0 win against Fulham at Goodison Park this weekend.
It was a welcome moment for the player, who had recently lost his starting place to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Everton boss Silva says the goal was ‘very important’ to the 27-year-old, and hopes he can now score regularly, starting with tomorrow’s Carabao Cup clash with Southampton.

Keane feeling good
Everton centre-back Michael Keane believes he is now playing the best football he has since joining the club from Burnley last summer.
The England international struggled at times during his first season, although was not helped by inept partners at the back.
This season, bar being temporarily sidelined with a fractured skull, he has been a regular and in far better form.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he stated he feels ‘strong’ and is ready to keep up his consistent form.
Silva on Bernard
Marco Silva admits that it is becoming hard to leave Brazilian attacker Bernard out of the first-team. The summer signing, who registered an assist against Fulham at the weekend.
He labelled the winger a ‘fighter’ and suggested Everton have a ‘vital’ player for the future in the mercurial attacker.
