Everton round-up: Team news, Richarlison wanted by Barcelona and Holgate loan

Everton take on Watford in the Premier League tonight. Marco Silva will be facing his old club for the first time since his controversial exit. Richarlison is also expected to play against his old club.

Everton, who have never lost at home to Watford, welcome back Morgan Schneiderlin from injury. Michael Keane is expected to come back into the starting XI after being rested against Newcastle United.

Barca want Richarlison

Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Richarlison. The Daily Star is reporting that Barcelona have long-term concerns over knee problems for current star striker Luis Suarez.

Richarlison is now being considered as a future option in the position. Big name options such as Antoine Griezmann and Harry Kane are considered unlikely additions.

Therefore, Everton’s £40 million Brazilian talent will be watched.

Holgate can leave

Mason Holgate could be allowed a loan move away from Everton in January. The young defender has fallen out of contention under the management of Marco Silva.

The Mirror report he may be allowed to leave on a temporary deal in the winter with a number of teams already keen on signing the player from Goodison Park.
