Silva on Doucoure
Everton manager Marco Silva refused to be drawn on links to former player Abdoulaye Doucoure today. The Toffees have been linked with a move for the Frenchman this week.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the weekend clash with Liverpool, the Everton manager said it is ‘normal that rumours’ have started again.
It was neither a confirmation nor a denial over a potential approach for his former Watford star.

Keane on injury hell
Michael Keane has been discussing his foot injury which decimated his debut season at the club. The £25 million arrival from Burnley suffered a gash on his foot that continually got infected as he attempted to play through the pain in Everton’s hour of need.
Speaking to the Telegraph, he described the injury as a ‘tough period’ and he suggested he has now changed the way he recovers from injury problems after medication and supplements failed to help.
Klopp praise
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes that the current Everton team is the best he would have faced since becoming Anfield boss.
As reported by Sky Sports, he called the current crop ‘the best-tuned squad’, reserving special praise for striker Richarlison.
