Everton round-up: No Usmanov investment, Onyekuru scouted and Galloway set for exit

A selection of the latest news and gossip from Everton.

No investment from Usmanov

The Liverpool Echo have moved to clear up rumours of extra investment from Alisher Usmanov. It came after MegaFon, one of the Russian billionaires companies was spotted on electronic hoardings at Goodison Park recently.

However, the Echo have made it clear this is not the indication of further investment. In fact, it is related to current rights agreements with USM Holdings, of whom Usmanov and Everton chairman Farhad Moshiri are major shareholders.

Onyekuru scouted

Bayern Munich are set to scout Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru this week. According to Fotospor, the German giants will watch the 21-year-old in action as Onyekuru takes on Lokomotiv Moscow with Galatasaray this evening in Champions League action.

The Nigerian, who cost Everton £7 million, has failed to earn a work permit to play in England and has therefore not yet played for the club.

Galloway leaving

Everton left-back Brendan Galloway is set to leave the club in January.

The Liverpool Echo reports that Everton are bringing the defender back to fitness slowly as they do not want to risk his chances of securing an exit from the club in 2019.

The former England under-21 star has previously had unsuccessful loan spells at West Brom and Sunderland and will now hope for better luck with a permanent move.
