Mirallas on transfers
Kevin Mirallas has criticised the club’s spending under Ronald Koeman last summer. Speaking to Sport/Voetbal, he discussed how Everton failed to replace Romelu Lukaku in the summer of 2017 – instead signing wingers and number attacking playmakers.
He called the six months afterwards ‘catastrophic’.
Mirallas spent the second half of last season on loan at Olympiakos and this summer he joined Fiorentina on loan for the season.
He does not appear to have a future at Goodison Park.

Lookman interest
RB Leipzig remain keen on a deal to sign Ademola Lookman. According to The Sun, the German side are still tracking the player.
Lookman spent the second half of last season on loan at the Bundesliga club and thrived during his spell abroad.
Everton kept hold of him this summer despite big-money bids for the player.
However, Leipzig sporting director Paul Mitchell has stated he is ‘open to revisiting’ the interest in the player.
Sandro on exit
Sandro Ramirez has been speaking about a potential permanent move to Real Sociedad. Talking to Cadena SER, as quoted by El Desmarque, he admitted he is enjoying things in San Sebastian and admitted that if ‘everything goes well’ he would be happy to join ‘a great club’.
He went on to suggest his style of play simply never suited that at Goodison Park.
