Everton round-up: Mina linked with shock exit, Calvert-Lewin praised and Niasse to go
Shock Mina report
Yerry Mina is being linked with a sensational exit from the club, despite only joining in the summer.
Everton signed the Colombian from Barcelona in the summer after an impressive World Cup with Barcelona. He cost the club a reported £30 million in the summer and has impressed in his few appearances for the club so far.
However, Don Balon is reporting he is wanted by Atletico Madrid next summer. The report claims Los Colchoneros would be willing to pay €35 million (£31.6m) for the player.
Unless something rather drastic happens between now and the end of the season, that seems an unlikely scenario.
Richarlison has heaped praise on young Everton attacker Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The Brazilian told the official Everton website that he feels the striker will ‘be really important’ toward Everton’s hopes this season.
Calvert-Lewin recently scored in the 3-1 loss to Manchester City.
Everton are prepared to listen to offers for striker Oumar Niasse in January.
The Senegalese star has struggled for form recently and has not been used by Marco Silva.
The Liverpool Echo are now reporting his time could be up at Goodison Park. Cardiff City have been linked with a move for the player.
