Yannick Bolasie has admitted that Romelu Lukaku helped him decide to join Anderlecht on loan. The DR Congo international joined the Belgian side on loan until the end of the season on deadline day. It came after he previously cancelled a spell at Aston Villa.
The winger, who is good friends with his former Everton team-mate, has told Het Nieuwsblade that the Belgian told him to ‘go, now’ when he was informed of their interest.
Lukaku came through the ranks at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium.
Antony Evans has been speaking about his loan move to Blackpool. Everton’s talented young midfielder sealed a loan switch to Bloomfield Road on Deadline Day.
Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, he claimed the switch is ‘exactly what he needed at this stage of the season’.
The 20-year-old has previously had a spell on loan at Morecambe.
Hornby loan in the summer
The Sun journalist Alan Nixon has suggested that Wigan Athletic could be in line to sign Everton’s talented young striker Fraser Hornby next season.
He suggests Everton were reluctant to loan him out in January. However, they are open to the possibility of the Scotland under-21 international gaining first-team experience next season and the DW Stadium looks a potential location.
