The agent of Everton owned star Nikola Vlasic has revealed he spoke with Inter Milan this summer regarding a potential transfer.

As reported by Calciomercato, Tonci Martic stated that Inter ‘looked with interest’ at the player.

He also confirmed that no deal was close for the player. Everton told the Croatian he could leave this summer and he is currently thriving for Russian side CSKA Moscow.

Gylfi thoughts

Everton beat Leicester City 2-1 yesterday, thanks to a wondergoal from Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Icelandic star performed a perfect Cruyff turn before smashing home a rasping 30-yard drive.

Speaking about the goal after the game, he confirmed that he simply thought ‘why not?’ before striking the ball at Kasper Schmeichel’s goal.

It proved to be a vital goal and one the Everton star claims is ‘up there’ as one of his best goals.
