Iglesias approach

Galicia Press has reported that Everton did make an offer to sign Spanish striker Borja Iglesias in the winter.

The report suggested that the Espanyol attacker was the subject of £25 million interest from the Toffees, who are looking into the signature of a new striker.

However, the player reportedly decided he wanted to remain at his current club for the time being.

Richarlison interest

Chelsea are keen on Everton attacker Richarlison. As reported by the Daily Mail, the Brazilian is being considered as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard should he decide to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid.

The report claims that Chelsea has initially wanted to sign the player when he was at Fluminense in Brazil.

As reported by The Telegraph, Everton spent £40 million to sign the attacker from Watford in the summer.

Johnson on Williams

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson admits he was interested in signing Joe Williams in January. As reported by the Bristol Post, the Robins boss admitted that he would have liked to sign the player.

However, the Everton youngster is on loan at Bolton Wanderers and no deal ever happened.

Johnson admitted Williams is ‘a good player’ and summer interest would certainly not come as a surprise.
