Everton round-up: Hazard linked, Robinson injured and CSKA want Vlasic full-time

A selection of the latest news and gossip from Everton.

Hazard linked

Everton have, rather loosely, been linked with a move for Thorgan Hazard. Italian source CalcioMercato have suggested that the Belgian talent is on the radar at Goodison Park.

It is not the first time Everton have been linked with the player, even if the latest reports seem slightly tenuous.

Hazard, the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard, has been one of the Bundesliga’s best performing players this season.

Robinson injured

Loaned out left-back Antonee Robinson faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines. The USA international picked up an ankle injury recently and has now had to undergo surgery on the problem.

He has been ruled out for 10 weeks by his loan club Wigan Athletic, where he has been an ever-present this season.

Vlasic wanted permanently

CSKA Moscow want to sign Everton playmaker Nikola Vlasic on a permanent deal. The club’s chief executive Yevgeny Giner has told Russia 24 that he is hoping the Russian side can secure his signature in the summer.

Vlasic joined the Russian side in the summer after being told his first-team chances at Everton were minimal. He has thrived since the move and is also wanted by a host of Italian clubs.
