Sweat over Gueye
Everton are concerned over the fitness of their midfield general Idrissa Gana Gueye. The 29-year-old, who scored his second international goal for Senegal in a 3-0 win against Sudan this week, suffered an ankle injury in the clash.
As reported by the Liverpool Echo, he limped out of action and Everton are now sweating on his fitness ahead of the game with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The Senegalese midfielder has been one of Everton’s key players this summer.
RLC wanted
Everton are being linked with a January move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek. One of England’s breakout World Cup stars the midfielder decided he would try and breakthrough at Stamford Bridge this season, after impressing on loan at Crystal Palace.

However, he is way down the midfield pecking order under Maurizio Sarri and is believed to be considering his future.
Everton are said to be keen on a loan deal, along with Palace, according to the Daily Mail.
Arsenal could attempt a permanent signing if Aaron Ramsey is sold in the winter.
Trio loan possible
The Sun on Sunday (14/10/18; pg 61) is reporting that three Everton youngsters are being lined up for loan deals in January.
The players in question are Antony Evans, Kieran Dowell and Fraser Hornby.
Norwich City are believed to be keen on Evans, whilst Preston want Scottish striker Hornby should he recover from ankle surgery in time.
Dowell is not linked specifically with a club, but is expected to be available to Championship sides.
