Pickford worry

Manchester United are struggling to keep hold of David De Gea and that could be bad news for Everton.

PSG are hopeful of bringing the Spaniard to the French capital in the summer an, as reported by talkSPORT, Jordan Pickford is lined up as his replacement.

The report suggests he will become the world’s highest paid goalkeeper. The Daily Mail suggest he will be on £300,000-a-week. Pickford is high up the list of potential replacements. Brighton’s Matt Ryan is also being watched.

Mini-derby loss

Everton have lost the ‘mini-derby’ with Liverpool. The under-23s lost 1-0 to their Merseyside age group rivals. Adam Lewis’ powerful drive rebounded off of Rafa Camacho for a lucky winner.

Marcel Brands was watching on as Everton looked to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points but they failed to do so.

Brands on Barca trio

Brands has been talking to Mundo Deportivo regarding the signature of three players from Barcelona this summer.

The Catalan newspaper were excited to hear how Brands felt the trio of Lucas Digne, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes have settled in to life at Goodison Park.

Brands stated that Everton were ‘very happy’ with their performances so far.
