Everton round-up: Bordeaux pair watched, Hasic terminates contract and Mirallas praises Silva

A selection of the latest news and gossip from Everton.

Bordeaux scouting

Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Bordeaux pair Francois Kamano and Samuel Kalu. The Liverpool Echo reports that Everton are watching the development of the pair carefully.

Kamano has seven goals in 11 games this season whilst Nigerian talent Kalu arrived in the summer from Genk.

Marcel Brands is believed to already be looking toward January and beyond to improve the Everton squad.

Hasic terminated

Everton are one team said to be keen on Bosnian talent Ajdin Hasic. The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg are also said to be keen – according to Jutarni.

The report now claims he has mutually agreed to terminate his contract with current club Dinamo Zagreb, as he looks to find his next club.

Mirallas praise

Kevin Mirallas has praised Marco Silva for his honesty this summer. The Belgian was allowed a loan move to Fiorentina in the summer, despite impressing in his pre-season outings.

Mirallas, who had spent the end of last season on loan at Olympiakos, has been speaking to Sport Voetbal Magazine in Belgium about his life in Florence.

He stated that Silva told him in the summer that he wanted to ‘start from scratch’ and that he would be allowed to leave. Mirallas said he ‘appreciated’ the honesty of the Everton boss and that the struggles of Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines this season suggest he was right to move on.
