Stekelenburg interest
Maarten Stekelenburg has recently been linked with a move to French side Lille. However, the Liverpool Echo suggest that no move is likely at the moment.
Everton currently have just Jordan Pickford and Mateusz Hewelt in the goalkeeping department. Pickford, however, is not set to return to Everton until the end of the month after his heroics with England at the World Cup.
Joel Robles has already left this summer and 33-year-old Stekelenburg would be a wise choice as Everton’s back-up.

Lascelles interest
Everton are reportedly set to step up their interest in Newcastle United captain Jamaal Lascelles.
According to the Northern Echo, an increase in West Ham’s interest is set to force Everton’s hand on the issue.
The talented defender is one of several centre-backs who have been linked with Everton this summer.
Mina help
Barcelona have signed Clement Lenglet from Sevilla. Sky Sports suggest that the Frenchman has cost the Catalan club £31.7 million.
The report also claims that the arrival of the 23-year-old will help Everton in their pursuit of Yerry Mina.
The presence of Lenglet, Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen means Mina is now surplus to requirements.
