Everton reportedly want to sign 'complete' £12m midfield talent likened to Bruno Guimaraes
Everton have been linked with Vasco da Gama youngster Andrey Santos in recent days.
According to Brazilian journalist Lucas Pedrosa, the Toffees are one of three Premier League clubs in ‘frequent contact’ with the player’s representatives.
Everton could really do with bolstering their midfield ranks over the next two transfer windows.
Tom Davies and Abdoulaye Doucoure are out of contract next summer, while Idrissa Gueye will be 34 next September.
As one of Brazil’s top young midfield talents, Santos would be a great addition to the Everton ranks.
There have been reports suggesting the Toffees may be too far behind in the race for the 18-year-old’s services.
Chelsea, one of Everton’s rival suitors, are apparently closing in on a £12million deal for Santos, as per the Evening Standard.
Therefore, the race may still be open, and Everton could try their luck.
