Everton have reportedly identified a potential striking target for January, according to reports.
The Toffees are believed to be keen on the signature of Goncalo Paciencia from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Record in Portugual is reporting that Everton boss Marco Silva is, in particular, a big fan of his countryman. They suggest a potential €20 million (£17.1 million) approach could be in the offing for the player. The report also claims Paciencia is interested in the move, as Everton could significantly increase his salary.

Goal have also reported on the interest. They suggest Paciencia is seen as a potential option in attack with current options Moise Kean, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun all proving goal-shy.
TBR’s View
This has been something of a breakthrough season for Paciencia at Frankfurt. The German side had to rebuild in attack over the summer after losing Luka Jovic, Ante Rebic and Sebastien Haller.
Andre Silva has replaced the athleticism and hard-work of Rebic, Bas Dost the strength and physical presence of Haller whilst Paciencia has taken up the goalscoring mantle of Jovic. The Serbian scored 27 goals last season before making a reported (Daily Mail) £53 million move to Real Madrid.
Paciencia is now the leading marksman at Frankfurt, with nine goals from his first 23 games of the new season and that form has clearly attracted the interest of Everton. With the club’s current central striking options all struggling, Everton are right to be targeting a player with Paciencia’s potential.
