Everton are still hopeful of removing fringe players Cuco Martina and Oumar Niasse from the wage bill before the end of the transfer window, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report claims that Everton believe they can find new homes for the outcast pair, although there is currently no concrete interest in their services.
Both players have barely featured for Everton in recent seasons, although Niasse has recently featured as a substitute for Carlo Ancelotti.

Both have been out on various loan deals, with Niasse spending time at Hull City and Cardiff City whilst Martina had stints at Stoke City and Feyenoord.

Getting rid of this pair is hardly a priority for Everton but it would be great to remove them from the wage bill.
As reported by The Mirror (information from Spotrac) Niasse is on £55,000-a-week at Goodison Park with Martina on £35,000-a-week. Combined, that is £90,000-a-week Everton could free up, the same amount Lucas Digne is reportedly being paid.
Niasse is a flop from the Roberto Martinez days and Martina was a trusted option brought in from Southampton by former boss Ronald Koeman. Neither player has managed to find themselves regular football since the managers who signed them were sacked.
Both are out of contract at the end of the season, so don’t expect big-money deals, but hopefully, Everton can shift the players on before the window slams shut.
