Although Sean Dyche’s Everton side have been quiet in January thus far, it seems they could now have a striker on their radar.
Everton looked to have completed a stellar revamp of their striker department in the summer just gone.

Portuguese forward Beto arrived from Udinese, a player intended to help Dominic Calvert-Lewin up top.
Moreover, with that pairing in place, 19-year-old Youssef Chermiti could start to realise his potential at the club without too much pressure.
And whilst that set-up is working to a degree, none of the three strikers mentioned have been too inspiring in front of goal.
Calvert-Lewin’s run of games have been real positive, but the striker’s three goals in 17 games explains his lack of sharpness.
Moreover, Beto only has one Premier League goal himself, even if it has been refreshing having an alternative to Calvert-Lewin who is similar in style.
With that being said, Everton are now being linked with a January loan move for Krasnodar striker Jhon Cordoba.
According to The Standard, the 30-year-old Colombian is available this month, even if a deal would be complicated.
Everton now considering a January move for Krasnodar striker Jhon Cordoba
Dyche’s side are said to be one of a number of clubs looking at the striker this month.
However, given Cordoba is playing his football in Russia at present, a deal may be difficult in the eyes of the Premier League.

Cordoba left Hertha Berlin for £17m in 2021, and has proved fairly prolific at his new club.
The striker has 11 goals in 20 games across all competitions this season – more than Everton’s trio combined.
A move to the Premier League and Everton would clearly be a step up for the striker in January, but he could prove the best of the options available.
Perhaps some fans would rather just see their side stick to their current options, but added goals would also be welcome.
Calvert-Lewin should come good in that respect, especially if he maintains his fitness for the remainder of the season.
That being said, it seems as if Everton do also have an alternative option to Cordoba lined up this month.
