Everton look set to go head-to-head with Leicester City for the signing of promising Norwich City attacker James Maddison, according to The Mirror.
The Canaries playmaker is valued at £25 million by the Championship club and both Everton and Leicester have been linked with his signature throughout the summer.
Leicester sees him as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrez, whilst Everton are just looking to improve their squad all over.
Fulham are also said to be keen on the player, who scored 15 goals for Norwich last season.
Everton are also on the hunt for Swedish international defender Victor Lindelof. According to The Mirror, the Manchester United defender has been told he can leave Old Trafford after just one season with the club.
He has struggled to impress since his £31.5 million move from Benfica. Now, the report claims Everton see him as the perfect option to strengthen their dodgy defence.
A £35 million price-tag has been mentioned for a player who was also linked with Wolves earlier this summer.
He’s not the only United player being targeted this summer. As reported by the Daily Mail, Everton are also keen on Marcus Rashford.
The report claims Everton are hopeful they could bring the player in on loan next season. They are not alone, with Leicester City and Newcastle United also keen if Jose Mourinho decided he wants to send the player out for first-team experience.
