Everton fans should be concerned about the long-term future of their midfielder Andre Gomes and director of football may need to intervene quickly to secure a deal for him.
The 25-year-old midfielder has been a popular figure for the Toffees during his current season-long loan at Goodison Park.
He is unwilling to play for his parent club Barcelona again which should drive down the price for a permanent transfer in the summer (Times).
But Everton should now be fearful amid reported interest from European clubs.
According to Calciomercato, Italian clubs Roma and Lazio are both interested in a swoop for Gomes.
It is understood that they would move for the creative playmaker when his loan with Everton expires and that he would cost a fee between £17million and £26million.

Gomes is certainly someone that would be a great signing for Everton in the long-term and turning his loan into a permanent deal should be a priority.
The Portugal international offers great composure and guile in the centre of the park, which compliments nicely alongside enforcer Idrissa Gueye.
Gomes can play a vital role moving forward in Marco Silva’s plans and they shouldn’t allow his head to be turned ahead of a potential move elsewhere next season.
