Everton are one of many teams being linked with a move for Porto winger Yacine Brahimi. As reported by O Jogo, Everton join the likes of West Ham United and Newcastle United in wanting the Algerian attacker.
He is out of contract in the summer, so would be a cut-price target for the Toffees. However, he is one they should desperately avoid.
The Algerian international turns 29 in February so would not be a signing for the future. Despite excellent early form in Portugal, he has not been eye-catching in his last three seasons.

He is also another winger. Everton have Richarlison, Bernard, Theo Walcott and the youngster Ademola Lookman currently present. With Kieran Dowell also capable wide, giving the youngsters a shot ahead of Brahimi would be a better shout.
He may be out of contract, however, he is still likely to be an expensive recruit regarding his salary and Everton would be better off finding a better option. Brahimi would be a signing based on convenience, not conviction.
Everton should steer clear, bring in someone else, or have faith in who they already have.
