Barcelona are said to be open to a loan move away from the club for their talented midfielder Riqui Puig.
As reported by SPORT, Barcelona will allow Puig to leave if Barcelona ‘B’, where he currently plays most of his football, are not promoted to Spain’s second tier.
It has plenty of teams on notice. The report claims the likes of Ajax, Celta Vigo and Granada have all made their interest known.
Unnamed Premier League teams are said to also be keen and Everton fans should be hoping they are part of that group.

Everton have been linked with a move for Puig in the past. Back in December 2018, the Sunday Mirror reported (16/12/2018; pg 65) that Marcel Brands was keen on the Spanish star who has a release clause of €100 million at the Nou Camp.
Around the same time, a report from SPORT claimed that Lionel Messi had been left ‘astonished’ by Puig’s ability and resemblance to former Barca legend Andres Iniesta.
Everton have an excellent relationship with Barcelona. They have recently signed the likes of Andre Gomes, Lucas Digne, and Yerry Mina from the Catalan side, with great success.
The Toffees could provide Puig with a chance to play regular first-team action and Everton could certainly do with a player of Iniesta like energy and incision.
Everton should undoubtedly look to rekindle their old interest in the talented Spanish playmaker.
