Arvin Appiah scored within minutes of making his Nottingham Forest debut last night.
Although Nottingham Forest were beaten 3-2 by Burton Albion in the EFL Cup, Appiah well and truly announced himself.
After coming on to make his debut as an 84th minute substitution, Appiah found the back of the net in the 90th minute.
He fluffed his first chance but was composed enough to tuck away the rebound to net a consolation goal.
Everton have been tracking Appiah for quite some time now. The Toffees, alongside Manchester United, Arsenal and others, have sent scouts to watch the teenager in action.
So they will be fully aware of the 17-year-old’s ability. He is considered to be one of the hottest young strikers in England.
But last night, the England under-18 striker would have caught the eye of a few more admirers.
At such a young age, he wasted no time announcing himself on the senior stage and in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Appiah is destined for the top and Everton need to move quickly if they are to snatch him.
Nottingham Forest will be eager to tie him down to a lucrative long-term contract, while other clubs will start circling.
If Everton wish to snap the Forest starlet up, they might need to start firming up their interest imminently.
