Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a man in demand this month as clubs circle and ponder a bid for him.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea and Manchester United are the latest two clubs to enter the race for Wan-Bissaka. Everton are also interested in the right-back, according to a previous report by The Sun.

But with the Premier League big boys now in the hunt, Everton need to step up their hunt for Wan-Bissaka to avoid missing out on him.

The England under-21 star is the ideal long-term replacement for ageing captain Seamus Coleman at right-back, given his defensive and attacking prowess.

Wan-Bissaka’s tackling ability is impressive with Who Scored recording a total of 77 in 21 games. According to Who Scored, Wan-Bissaka has also made 50 blocks, 51 interceptions and 64 clearances, highlighting his defensive importance for Crystal Palace.

But with a sensation tally of 40 successful dribbles, 530 passes and 10 key passes in the Premier League this season, the 21-year-old is just as important going forward.

It is no surprise to see the Premier League’s top six starting to take an interest in the Crystal Palace starlet.

But it does mean that Everton need to firm up their interest with a bid this January in order to seal this deal before other clubs pounce.

Wan-Bissaka is a star for the future and it would be a shrewd acquisition for Everton if they could pull it off.
