Leeds want flying winger

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is reportedly on Leeds United’s list of ambitious summer targets, according to TEAMtalk.

The 29-year-old is currently on loan with Belgian outfit Anderlecht where he has scored four goals in eight games.

One major stumbling block for the Whites could be the fact that Bolasie earns £75k-a-week, according to Spotrac.

It seems likely that Everton might look to offload the winger during the summer and a Leeds promotion could enhance their prospects.

Defender claims to have rejected Liverpool. Twice!

Everton fans will be delighted with defender Lucas Digne who has confirmed in the French media that he has rejected Liverpool on two occasions.

The quote from Digne has been captured on Twitter by Get French Football News:

The 25-year-old has been a standout performer for the Toffees this season and is a real asset to the club.

He has three goals and four assists in 29 appearances and it has now emerged that he could have signed for Liverpool earlier in his career.

This news might upset some Reds supporters who like to feel that they are far superior to their city rivals.

Liverpool’s loss is massively Everton’s gain as far as Digne is concerned.

Coleman identifies two players that club must sign in the summer

Everton captain Seamus Coleman has told The Independent that Marco Silva should try and land Kurt Zouma and Andre Gomes permanently this summer.

The duo have been excellent since arriving on loan from Chelsea and Barcelona respectively.

Coleman sees the undoubted quality in the pair and believes the club should ensure they are kept beyond the summer.

He said: “It’s the owners and manager’s decision of course but it would be great to keep hold of the players we’ve got on loan.

“They’ve been great and their performances at certain points have been brilliant. If we could keep them if would be fantastic.”
