Ex-England man picks his derby-day Man of the Match
Former England defender Rio Ferdinand took to Twitter following yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
He wanted to have his say on who he thought was Everton’s star man, following the stalemate.
The former Premier League player tweeted:
Keane was in fine form for the Toffees and offered a timely reminder to Everton fans of exactly what he can do.
Everton linked with youngster
According to Derbyshire Live, Everton are among the clubs chasing striker Jaylen Wildbore.
The Burton Albion u-15 youngster is reportedly attracting interest from Fulham and Liverpool too.
Wildbore has been a standout performer in the Brewers’ academy but does look set to depart the club during the summer.

Captain calls for patience
Seamus Coleman threw his weight behind boss Marco Silva following Sunday’s draw with fierce rivals Liverpool.
The Toffees were well worthy of a point in the derby and Coleman thinks Silva should be given time.
He told the Liverpool Echo: “It’s one of the things I don’t like about modern day football; it always seems to go on the manager’s toes and us players get away with murder a little bit.
“Managers need time and our manager is working very hard. It won’t happen overnight, he needs to get his own players in and implement his own style of play.”

Pickford praise
Jordan Pickford produced a stunning first-half save to deny Mohamed Salah in the derby-day draw.
It was a save that saw him earn a place in the European Team of the Week, courtesy of Gazetta dello Sport.
Yesterday saw Pickford claim his eighth clean sheet of the campaign.
He joined fellow Premier League performers Aaron Ramsey and Riyad Mahrez in the team.
