Everton reportedly want to sign Tammy Abraham this summer. According to The Daily Mail, Everton could battle Wolves for Abraham this summer.
Chelsea have not yet made a decision on whether to keep him, loan him out again or sell him. But after a stunning season at Aston Villa, Abraham will not be short of suitors.
The twice-capped England striker has scored 25 goals in 37 games for the Villans to spearhead their promotion push. Aston Villa will surely try to re-sign him this summer but may need promotion via the play-offs to get their man.
If Abraham does come to Everton, this could be bad news for resurgent forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The 22-year-old has taken advantage of Everton’s striker shortage and has recently played his way into the starting line-up.

With six goals in 35 games, Calvert-Lewin’s scoring rate could do with some improvement. But his all-round game has been impressive and he is preferred to Cenk Tosun.
However, Abraham’s arrival at Goodison Park could push Calvert-Lewin down the pecking order in Marco Silva’s plans. He might return to a bit-part bench role at Everton.
Both players are currently in the England U21 set-up and play together for the Young Lions. Perhaps this competition could instead spur both players on at Everton.
