Everton are being linked with a move for AS Roma enforcer Steven Nzonzi.
According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, the World Cup-winning Frenchman could become one of Carlo Ancelotti’s first signings at Goodison Park.

There is now a strong feeling that the Italian tactician will be taking over the Toffees, and he will likely want to strengthen the squad next month after the club’s disappointing start.
Nzonzi has been out on loan at Galatasaray this season, but was recently dropped for disciplinary reasons, meaning he is likely to head back to his parent club this winter.
Should Everton successful manage to do a deal for Nzonzi, then it could well be the beginning of the end for Morgan Schneiderlin.
TBR’s view – Schneiderlin hasn’t been good enough
It hasn’t been a great stint for Schneiderlin at Goodison Park following his £24 million move from Manchester United in January 2017 (BBC Sport).
The 30-year-old has been fairly underwhelming, and is likely going to be the player stung most by any arrival of Nzonzi.

The former Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City man would bring significant steel to the Everton engine room, and arguably would go some way to replacing Idrissa Gueye, who left the club in the summer.
Nzonzi joining, plus the returns of Fabian Delph, Jean-Philippe Gbamin and Andre Gomes, really would make a summer exit likely – especially since it’d be the last chance for the club to get decent money for him with his contract expiring in 2021.
