Fiorentina performances should signal the end of Kevin Mirallas at Everton

Everton have not enjoyed the best of times during the 2018/19 campaign as Marco Silva nears the end of his first season in charge.

The Toffees will be hoping to finish with a flourish and then enter the transfer market to add the relevant quality to push the club on.

Disappointing days have occurred far too often this season and Silva will hope for improvements next season.

A lot of that will depend on the business he completes in the transfer market.

One man who looks to have run out of time to earn a reprieve at Everton is Kevin Mirallas.

The Belgian is currently on loan with Fiorentina but has not really made much of an impact on Serie A.

The 31-year-old has netted twice and contributed three assists from his 20 appearances.

Mirallas has only started 10 games and this loan spell was really a last chance saloon for the forward.

It would appear that he is now playing to earn a move elsewhere in the summer as he enters the last 12 months of his Everton contract.

Everton aren’t exactly short of a bob or two so Silva will be able to land some signings in the summer.

That doesn’t bode well for the man with 186 appearances to his name and his days at Goodison Park look numbered.
