Everton have offered Wilfried Zaha a whopping £200,000 per week to tempt Wilfried Zaha to Goodison Park before the transfer deadline, according to the Sun.
They report that Zaha has handed in a transfer request at Crystal Palace but with the Eagles digging in over fees, they have looked to convince the player himself to push even harder for a move.
£200,000 per week would make Zaha the highest earner at Goodison Park according to Spotrac, working out at over £10 million through the course of a year.
The report says that Zaha earns £130,000-a-week at Palace right now and while Zaha is clearly motivated by an ambition to play at a higher level, moving his wages closer into line with elite players may help Everton too.

The deal that took Harry Maguire to Manchester United has set a benchmark in terms of what clubs lower down the league can demand for their star players.
Palace would be in very real relegation danger if they lost Zaha, and going down would likely cost them more money than any transfer fee they could hope to get for the winger.
That’s why they’re so desperate to keep him. Everton have been in this situation before, when Swansea held them to ransom over Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Everton eventually got their man and Swansea went down that season, which is why Palace are so keen to keep Zaha.
They can’t get a £100 million player to Selhurst Park, and the tightness to the deadline makes reinvesting even harder.
