Everton have supposedly been offered Marseille midfielder Kevin Stootman on loan (Sky Sports).
The Toffees are understood in the market for reinforcements in midfield, and the £23 million Dutchman is apparently now an option.
Strootman has been a mainstay for Roma in 2018/19, making 34 appearances in all competitions.
The 29-year-old has also reportedly been offered to Manchester United and West Ham United.
Everton may have been offered Strootman, but there’s another Marseille player who Marco Silva could arguably do with more ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Everton need to think about strengthening at right-back this summer and Bouna Sarr could be an ideal signing.
The French star made 37 appearances for the club in all competitions in 2018/19 and showed some impressive attacking qualities.
The speedy full-back has the ability to play at right-back or on the wing, making him a potentially great like-for-like backup for Seamus Coleman.
The Republic of Ireland star is now 30 and no longer the same player as he was before sustaining his terrible leg break in 2017.
Jonjoe Kenny could be set to leave the club this summer as part of a mass clear-out, so Sarr – currently nursing a knee injury – could be worth some consideration.
