Everton defender Michael Keane has revealed he looks to copy the example of Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, which probably explains his newfound eye for goal.
The £65,000-a-week star (Spotrac) has scored three times already this term, and is carving out a reputation as being a big threat from set-pieces.

The first of Keane’s goals came against Salford City in the EFL Cup, and he has since bagged against West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool in the Premier League.
All three have come via set-piece situations, and Keane has explained how he has been studying Ramos.
He told the club’s official website: “I look at the way he attacks the ball.
“The main thing is to believe you are going to win the header and score.

“Make aggressive runs, maybe feint to go the other way and find yourself in space. Stay alive in the box.”
Ramos is arguably the best player to watch for defenders wanting to improve their goal output.
The 34-year-old recently reached 100 for Real – admittedly many of those have come from the penalty spot, but he’s certainly had his fair share of headers from set-pieces along the way.
TBR’s View – Keane learning from one of the best
Keane should continue to study Ramos closely.

There are few better central defenders out there than the Spaniard, especially when it comes to being a goal threat.
One other thing Keane should look to bring to his own game is the leadership Ramos exudes.
Arguably that is the most impressive thing about Ramos, and it’s helped Real become hugely successful over the years.
