Everton host Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have demanded that Tom Davies is recalled to the team.
The Toffees welcome Brighton to Goodison Park in the league and will be looking to bounce back from back-to-back defeat.
They lost their last league fixture against Manchester City, as well as a defeat at the weekend away to Liverpool in the FA Cup third round.
Carlo Ancelotti has had a mixed start on Merseyside since his appointment as manager, but now has a decent run of games on paper to try build some momentum and move up the division from 11th.

A selection of Everton supporters on social media have called for Davies to be reintroduced to the XI for Brighton.
He was an unused substitute against Liverpool, as Gylfi Sigurdsson and Morgan Schneiderlin paired together in the centre of the park.
Davies has started two of the four games since Ancelotti’s arrival and he adds some extra energy to the midfield when he starts.
The 21-year-old central midfielder is one possible option that could be promoted to the side, while enforcer Fabian Delph is another available midfielder.
