Everton fans split over reported interest in attacker Allan Saint-Maximin

Everton are reportedly interested in Nice attacker  Allan Saint-Maximin – and some of the club’s supporters are divided on whether or not he would be a good signing.

Nice-Matin reports that the Merseyside club are keen on the Ligue 1 winger.

The report details that they also face competition from Crystal Palace and Newcastle United for his potential signature this summer.

Saint-Maximin made 36 appearances for Nice this season, scoring goals and supplying four assists for the French outfit.

The 22-year-old has built up a decent reputation in recent years as a versatile attacker that can torment defences when running in behind.

He is a French attacker blessed with incredible speed and could light up the Premier League if he moves to England.

A selection of Toffees fans have reacted differently to reported interest in Saint-Maximin and some feel he’s worth taking a chance on, while others don’t believe he’s up to scratch.

Marco Silva’s squad currently consists of the likes of Bernard, Theo Walcott, Ademola Lookman and Richarlison as options in wide areas.
