Henry Onyekuru reminded Everton fans what they are missing as he struck two goals in Galatasaray’s 5-0 win over Antalyaspor – and Toffees fans cannot wait to see him at Goodison Park.
Onyekuru – a £7million signing from KAS Eupen in the summer of 2017 – is unable to play for Everton at the moment as he still has not obtained a work permit.
He has since been loaned out to Anderlecht, where he scored 10 in 28. He then moved to SuperLig side Galatasaray and has been in excellent form from the left wing, scoring one goal in every three games – 11 in 33.
The Nigeria international scored two goals on Monday night in the emphatic 5-0 win. He scored his first and Gala’s second by swiping a ball home with his first touch from 12 yards.

An excellent assist from ex-West Ham star Sofiane Feghouli set Onyekuru up for his second. He finished neatly after being played through, placing a left-footed effort past Antalyaspor goalkeeper Ruud Boffin.
Everton fans reacted to his brace by sending the versatile attacker messages on Twitter, urging him to come back to Merseyside and show fans what they are currently missing.
The chance of him obtaining a work permit remain to be seen, but the Liverpool Echo claim Everton are confident the Nigerian will finally be awarded a permit – allowing him to pull on the blue of Everton.
