Everton fans react to Theo Walcott's poor display v Wolves
Everton fans were left frustrated yesterday as Wolverhampton Wanderers ran out comfortable winners at Goodison Park. Goals from Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker ensured a comfortable victory for Nuno Espirito Santo’s visiting side.
It was a performance which left some Everton fans furious with several of their first-team players.
Once again, much of the ire was directed toward Theo Walcott and with good reason.

Best Benchwarmer At EVERY Premier League Team
The former England winger was not a popular recall from Marco Silva but must have shown in training this week something which had the Portuguese interested.
Everton fans however, were less than impressed. Walcott missed a great chance in the first-half which had fans disappointed but after that he had nearly zero contribution toward the game.
A stray black cat ran onto the field at one point, a true representation of the fortunes at Goodison Park right now. But the intrepid moggy did more running than Walcott in an amusing cameo which highlighted the flaws of the 30-year-old’s display.
Everton fans were equally annoyed with Silva for playing the winger, when he has had little impact for the club for a number of months now.
Here is some of the best reaction to his poor display…
Walcott will surely be replaced at half time #efc

He proved that panic buys are a waste. An argument very well supported by Walcott.

I think Walcott has had more than enough chances to prove himself but he is far too inconsistent. Thought moving to Everton might have been the change he needed to progress but sadly not mate

Don’t want to see Walcott start a game for a good while tbh. Absolutely abysmal today

Regardless of results, Silva should be sacked purely for starting Walcott over Lookman all season #EFC

Coincidence that we play like that when Walcott plays?

Close call between Walcott and the cat as to which one ran around aimlessly more this afternoon #EFC

Can’t fathom what Silva was thinking starting Walcott. He should be nowhere near the first team right now. Not that he is the only one, but we have far better options out wide than Theo. #efc

Why did that change not happen st half time .. Walcott has done nothing all game #efc
