Everton fans react to Seamus Coleman’s performance against West Brom

It’s two wins from two for Everton, as the Toffees crushed West Bromwich Albion 5-2 yesterday in the Premier League.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are one of three sides currently on six points – the others being Arsenal and Crystal Palace – but are top the pile with a superior goal difference.

Yesterday’s game at Goodison Park was a showcase of Everton’s quality in the final third, although Kieran Gibbs’ red card for the visitors undoubtedly had a huge impact.

James Rodriguez sparkled for the second game running, and opened his account for the club in fine style.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin hit a hat-trick, with Michael Keane also popping up on the scoresheet.

One man who has arguably gone a bit under the radar in the first two games, is full-back Seamus Coleman.

The £70,000-a-week captain (Spotrac) was solid against Spurs last week, and was really impressive against the Baggies.

The star has often struggled after the leg break he sustained on international duty back in March 2017 against Wales, but he has been very bright in the opening two Premier League matches of 2020/21.

At times he looked like the Coleman of old bombing down that right wing to offer support, and fans have made their feelings known on social media:
