Everton fans react to Richarlison’s performance in defeat to Watford

Richarlison started against his former side Watford on Saturday – and many Everton fans on Twitter were fuming at him for his display.

The Toffees lost 1-0 away to Watford in the Premier League to stretch the club’s recent run of form.

Andre Gray scored the decisive goal in the second-half for the hosts, while Marco SIlva’s team struggled in front of goal and Kurt Zouma was also sent off.

Everton’s hopes of pushing for the European spots appear to be slipping away every game and they now have just three points from their last five league matches.

Richarlison was a man under the spotlight due to his return to Vicarage Road and Everton fans were not pleased with how he performed.

The Brazilian attacker was used as a right-winger and struggled to make the difference in the final third.

The 21-year-old is the club’s top scorer this season with 11 goals across all competitions, but is going through a mini blip and wasn’t at the races against Watford.

He received a hostile atmosphere from the home crowd and was eventually substituted off by manager Silva in the second-half after failing to deliver.
