Everton striker Moise Kean could be set for a temporary return to Italy.
Just half a season after joining Everton, Kean is being linked with a loan exit. According to Corriere dello Sport, Bologna are eager to sign Kean on loan until the end of the season.
Everton signed Kean from Juventus for a big transfer fee in the summer. It could rise to over £25m depending on clauses, according to the Juventus website.
Kean’s slow start
It has been a struggle for Kean in England since joining from Juve. The Italy international has not scored a goal for Everton yet and has found himself on the bench most weeks.
Duncan Ferguson didn’t start Kean in his first game in charge of Everton as caretaker manager. And Marco Silva was reluctant to use the 19-year-old too often, despite his impressive reputation.
Moreover, Kean has been blasted for some off-the-field indiscipline, such as punctuality problems. Everton could consider sending him on loan and starting fresh in summer 2020.
Here are some tweets about the possibility of Kean joining Bologna on loan.
Unbelievable if this is true as this lad has just never been given a fair chance to show us what he either or can/cannot do?
