Everton are being linked with forward Arkadiusz Milik from Italian outfit Napoli – and some of the Toffees supporters on social media have responded by claiming they don’t see him as a necessary signing the club need to make this summer.
Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on his official website that Everton have recently joined the race for the 26-year-old attacker.
It is claimed that the Poland international had a move to Serie A rivals Roma collapse, which has left Napoli in a situation where they could try offload him on loan this season.
The report explains that Tottenham are one English team that have already been pursuing a move for Milik during the current summer window, but they now have competition from a Premier League rival.
Everton have shown their intent in the transfer window already during the past month, which has included building a new-look midfield that has seen them win four out of four at the start of the season.
Milik would be an intriguing option for Calo Anclottit’s side and he’s most recognised for being a powerful centre-forward that can be deployed as a target man, plus he’s an instinctive left-footed finisher around the box that has similar traits to Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud.

A selection of Everton supporters on social media have suggested they already have enough options in their forward line, but would like to see the club press on with their summer spending by attempting to strengthen at the opposite end of the pitch.
