Everton defender Mason Holgate is wanted by three Premier League clubs before Thursday’s transfer deadline, according to the Daily Mail.
They report that Burnley, Sheffield United and Bournemouth are all considering a bid for the 22-year-old defender, with concerns over their existing options.
The impending move taking Harry Maguire to Manchester United could see Leicester swoop for James Tarkowski at Turf Moor or Nathan Ake at the Vitality Stadium, according to Sky Sports.
Holgate could apparently be lured away for £8 million, despite the report saying that the Toffees are reluctant to lose him on a permanent basis.

Many Everton fans are worried about letting Holgate leave while their club remains short of central defensive options, with Michael Keane and Yerry Mina the only duo ahead of the 22-year-old as it stands.
In an inflated central defensive transfer market, they can’t understand the logic of selling a promising, versatile player for just £8 million, with one even suggesting £20 million in relation to Tyrone Mings’ move to Aston Villa.
Either way, many supporters on Twitter don’t want Holgate sold – and certainly not for that price – as it stands, because he can make a contribution this season…
