A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to laud Rafa Benitez after the new Toffees boss sent a classy message to a supporter on Twitter.
It seems fair to say that the reaction to Benitez getting the job was mixed, at best. Many, understandably, were not best pleased to have a former Liverpool boss come in – particularly given some of the previous comments he had made about the Toffees.

However, Farhad Moshiri pressed ahead and appointed the Spaniard.
Of course, much will depend for Benitez on his side’s performances and results on the pitch this coming season.
But Benitez actually looks to be off to an encouraging start as he looks to win supporters around. And one of the reasons for that is a superb video from the 61-year-old on social media.

It is not only those associated with Everton who will be aware of Michael Dullaghan. The Toffees fan receives rafts of messages of support from supporters of various other clubs.

And for that gesture, Benitez was lauded by many. Several Everton fans applauded the message, with some even admitting that he may be winning them over.
