Everton fans react to performance of Nathan Broadhead during Under-23 win

Nathan Broadhead bagged a brace as David Unsworth oversaw a 3-1 win for Everton’s under-23s against Derby County this evening.

The Welsh winger was in fine form for the Toffees and scored two neatly taken goals for the Toffees.

Tyree Wilson scored for the Rams, with Thierry Small bagging a third for Everton.

It’s a superb win for Unsworth team and the future looks bright for a lot of his team.

Broadhead does actually have an Everton first-team appearance to his name, whilst he’s also spent time on loan at Burton Albion.

In 22 appearances for the Brewers, he scored three goals and registered three assists.

At 22 the time really is now for Broadhead to be proving his worth to Carlo Ancelotti.

With Anthony Gordon set to join Preston on loan before tonight’s deadline, the versatile winger might find himself thrust into action.

It seems as though some fans would relish that too.
