Everton Under-23s secured a 3-1 win last night over Manchester United, with Nathan Broadhead helping himself to a hat-trick.
The Toffees youngster has been in fine form recently and David Unsworth will surely be delighted with his performances of late.
Everton stuck United to the sword with a devastating display of finishing and afterwards, supporters raved about Broadhead on Twitter.
The 22-year-old spent some time out on loan with Burton Albion last season. He fired three goals and three assists but failed to earn a temporary move away from Goodison Park in the summer.

Broadhead does have a first-team appearance to his name for Everton. He came on as a late substitute during a 3-0 win over Apollon Limassol back in 2017.
He hasn’t featured since though and the chances of him making the grade at Goodison Park are decreasing by the year.
The Welsh flyer is out of contract in the summer and his goals for the under-23s are putting him in the shop window with each passing week.
Last night was his night though and as he put the match ball on his mantlepiece, supporters took to Twitter to have their say about his performance.
Here is what Everton fans were saying about Broadhead.
