Yerry Mina was forced off in the first half of Colombia’s 2-1 defeat against South Korea today, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
They report that the Barcelona loanee has suffered a hamstring injury that makes him a doubt for this weekend’s trip to West Ham United.
Mina is not the first Toffees defender to suffer an injury blow during the international break, as Sky Sports reported two days ago that Lucas Digne was forced out of the France squad having limped out of training.
But while Digne has been a near ever-present throughout the season, Mina’s loan spell has been blighted by injury problems right from the off.

The Everton fans are becoming exasperated with the Colombian’s injury record and that is not looking good in terms of his hopes of making that loan move permanent.
Mina has talent but has seen the more reliable Kurt Zouma and Michael Keane, who netted his first England goal in last night’s 5-1 win over Montenegro, overtake him in recent weeks.
And we’ve put together some of the reaction from the Toffees fans, who are beginning to think Mina may be a waste of money…
