Plenty of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Lewis Gibson’s situation, with the defender’s future at Goodison Park reportedly up in the air.

The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle United are interested in bringing Gibson back to St James’ Park. He reportedly left for the Toffees in a £6 million deal in 2017 after making a complaint concerning Peter Beardsley.

Gibson is yet to make his first-team debut for Marco Silva’s men. But he is a regular fixture in the under-23 side and has been involved with the senior side in pre-season.
