Jonas Lossl looks all set to be Evertonβs second choice goalkeeper for the coming season after moving to Goodison Park from recently relegated Huddersfield Town.
Lossl was one of the most impressive performers for a largely insipid Terriers side packed full of players who were not cut out for the Premier League.
He showed he can cut it at that level, and offers an upgrade on the aging Martin Stekelenburg in terms of providing competition and cover for England number one Jordan Pickford.
Pickford needs to carry on developing to realise his potential, but that only comes with players pushing him all the way β and Lossl is a strong Premier League performer.

The 30-year-old took to Twitter to excitedly denote his first day of training with his new club and plenty of Toffees fans were keen to welcome him to the club.
They seem keen to see Pickford get some greater competition between the sticks and the arrival of a proven top flight performer with good experience and attitude is something not to be sniffed at.
