Everton fans react to Franck Kessie interest reports

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports this week claiming that the Toffees are one of the sides who have made contact with the representatives of Franck Kessie over a potential move next summer.

What’s the story?

According to 90min, Kessie has rejected a contract offer from AC Milan. And it seems that that has put a number of Premier League sides on alert.

The 24-year-old’s terms at San Siro expire next summer. And while the Rossoneri have not given up on keeping him, it does appear that they may face an uphill battle.

The report claimed that a host of English sides are being kept informed about his situation. Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are amongst his admirers.

But it is also claimed that the Toffees are in the race to sign the Ivorian.

90min reports that Kessie believes that he would be well-suited to the Premier League. And thus, a move to England is high on his list of priorities.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that there are many Everton fans who believe that they have any chance of getting a deal done.

The general feeling amongst the Goodison Park faithful on social media appears to be one of disbelief.
