A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Seamus Coleman’s display as the Toffees drew with Crystal Palace on Monday.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men were denied a crucial win in the race for the top four by a late Michy Batshuayi equaliser. It was James Rodriguez who had looked to have scored the decisive goal shortly before the hour mark.

And it was Coleman who provided the assist. It was a smart piece of play from the skipper, who bided his time before setting up the Colombian after Richarlison’s effort had been saved.
It proved to be a hugely impressive night for the 32-year-old. As shown by Whoscored.com, no player on either side could match his tally of three key passes while he was on the pitch.

He also managed to make a couple of tackles for the home side. And his overall performance prompted many Everton fans to take to social media to laud the Republic of Ireland international.
It has not been the easiest season for Coleman – who earns £70,000-a-week, according to Spotrac. He has only made 17 top flight appearances during this campaign, largely due to injury.
But he provided a fantastic reminder of what he can still do in the draw with Palace, leaving many of their supporters insisting that he deserves a lot of credit.
